Aeven selected as VMware Pinnacle partner
12.5.2026 11:15:00 CEST | Aeven A/S | Press release
Many companies use VMware technology as the foundation for critical IT systems. As the partner landscape changes, it may affect who can support and operate these environments going forward. Aeven is among a limited number of selected providers globally and is ready to help ensure continuity.

Aeven has been selected as a VMware Pinnacle partner, placing the company among a limited number of global providers authorized to deliver VMware-based cloud services from April 2027.
VMware is software that virtualizes servers, networks, and storage, allowing multiple systems to run efficiently on the same physical infrastructure. In Aeven, it is delivered as a fully managed service on infrastructure owned and operated in Denmark, enabling customers to run business-critical applications with stability, security, and full operational control.
The selection comes at a time when the VMware partner landscape is undergoing significant change. As the new partner model takes effect, some organizations will no longer be able to operate and support their VMware environments in the same way as before. This means that some organizations will need to reassess their VMware environments to ensure continued support and operational continuity.
"Being selected as a VMware Pinnacle partner is a recognition of our ability to operate business-critical infrastructure at scale," says Søren Lorenzen, Chief Commercial Officer in Aeven. "We are already in dialogue with customers who need clarity on what these changes mean in practice. The priority is to ensure continuity and avoid disruption. That requires a partner with both the platform and the operational capabilities to take responsibility end-to-end," he adds.
Aeven is the renowned managed infrastructure provider chosen by large enterprises and critical-to-society organizations, while Sentia streamlines the digital infrastructure of medium-sized corporations and smaller companies. Together, Aeven Group deliver VMware-based services built on a consistent operational foundation for any organization and industry.
